I have scraped the top 1,000,000 websites according to the public alexa rank dataset, and filtered them to make sure you would only get Shopify stores. Then I have extracted a list of data points that should help you get a better overview of the Shopify Stores.

This took me a couple of weeks to build is right, and to extract the data. Selling this dataset is a way for me to save you a lot of time.

Dataset specification

• Alexa Rank: Alex rank of the domain, shows the popularity of the site according to visitors (https://www.alexa.com/)
• Majestic Rank: Majestic rank of the domain, shows the popularity of the site according to backlinks (https://majestic.com/)
• Domain rating count: Approximate number of reviews targeting the domain (aggregated across providers)
• Domain rating: Approximate review ratings targeting the domain (aggregated across providers)
• Domain: The domain itself
• Link: URL that we were redirected to when visiting the domain
• Is Password Protected: Is the store password protected?
• Has A Custom Domain: Does the store have a custom domain?
• Has A Custom Theme: Does the store have a custom theme? or is it a theme bought from the Shopify Theme Shop
• Shopify Shop ID: The unique ID of the shop in Shopify
• Shopify Shop Domain: The shopify domain of the shop
• Site Title: The title scraped from the homepage
• Site Description: The description scraped from the homepage
• Email: The emails scraped from the homepage (often support emails)
• Phone: The phone numbers scraped from the homepage (often support phone numbers)
• Social Links: The list of links to the Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Pinterest... social pages
• Theme ID: The unique ID of the theme
• Theme Name: The Name of the theme (set by the shop developers)
• Theme Store Name: The name of the theme if it was purchased in the Shopify Theme Shop
• Theme Store Price: The price of the theme if it was purchased in the Shopify Theme Shop
